How does one start these? Oh well!
My inspiration for even making this does come from reading a French persons blog and reading Marcus Aurelius Meditation. Even the introduction has a reference to Epictetus (another stoic) that complained during one lecture that, students came to him with other people's opinions and challenged him to debate about it, while he wanted his students to hear others opinions and form their own opinions based on it, then they could debate and see which idea was the better.
I do understand it is preposterous to be original in everything, some opinions we do have to embrace as there isn't much to add/evolve on, but I think some people suffer from having to have everything explained, any form of media usually has a YouTube video with a *insert topic* explained.
There is a form of hypocrisy with this post as this opinion is far from original, a man thought about it 2000 years ago (the graverobber of ideas). Why I write this especially with media is because you are your own individual with your own experiences in life, your life might be similar to another but never truly the same. Being born with a lot of money or no money will shape certain viewpoints, it becomes a lot with all experiences we will have in life
So engaging with *insert media* will weave a specific experience for you as language and art is up for interpretation.
This is the part where I show my dubious nature, getting up to some mischief, oh no. Well, there is also beauty in wanting to define everything, nothing should be open ended or create any form of discussion, the knight saves the princess, they live happily ever after, the end. At times I tend to make stuff way to complex when they are actually rather simple, it's when you acquire wisdom that you understand what should/shouldn't be complex.
My last point, eventually (hopefully) you realise what you should focus on in life as I have walked aimless for many many years, only through physical training and reading have I found my first stop.
Thanks for reading!
